Welcome!
We are so excited that you want to celebrate this special day with us! On this page you will hopefully be able to find all the information you need for the big day. Remember to RSVP!
Love, Sol and Benjamin.
The wedding day
The wedding ceremony
The wedding ceremony will be held at 1 pm on 22 August in the beautiful and historical church of Järfälla kyrka, built in the 12th century.
The church is accessible from central Stockholm via commuter train or by bus. The nearest commuter train station is Barkarby, a short walk away from the destination. You can also take the SL bus 178 from Barkarby directly to the church. For those travelling by car there is parking available in connection to the church.
The reception
Following the ceremony we will go together by bus to the reception, which will be held at the charming Ulvsättra gård. For those taking the car there is parking available by the barn house.
Following welcome drinks and some time for socializing, dinner is served in the barn house. Closing out the reception, we open up the dance floor until midnight. For those in the mood for more, you can sign up for the afterparty when you RSVP!
The toastmasters
You will be guided throughout the evening by our phenomenal toastmasters and friends Andreas (on the left) and Daniel (on the right)!
Speeches and performances
Planned speeches or performances are welcomed during the dinner. There will be a projector and screen available for audiovisual presentations. To ensure a smooth dinner schedule, all speeches must be submitted beforehand to the toastmasters and should not exceed 3 minutes.
If you want to give a speech or performance, please send an email to the toastmasters at thetoastymasters@gmail.com by 2 July. Include in your email the names of all participants. If you need to make use of the projector, make sure also to include the presentation file in your email.
Dress code
The dress code is cocktail attire, but for us the most important thing is that you feel comfortable and ready to celebrate!
Children
We love children, but on this day we have chosen to celebrate in grown up company. Infants are of course welcome.
Gifts
We do not expect any gifts; the most important thing is your presence!
